Joyce L. Kurdt, 88, of Downsville, passed away early Saturday morning, Aug. 19, 2023 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home of Stamford.
Joyce was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Palmer) Mellor. She married Robert L. Kurdt Dec. 27, 1953. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Downsville and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Joyce is survived by her loving family, her husband Bob, three sons, Robert L. (Denise) Kurdt Jr. of Castleton, John T. (Carol) Kurdt of Gastonia, N.C., and Gary J. (Amiee) Kurdt of Garden City; grandchildren Ben, Gabrielle and Ron, Brian and Jenny, David, Sarah, Rob and Florina, and great-grandchildren Samuel, Andrew, Philip, Julia and Chloe.
The family is being cared for by the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
