Dennis Watson

I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Dennis L. Watson.

Born on April 10, 1955 in New Berlin, he was the son of the late Lloyd (Jen) and Erma Eggleton Watson. He passed away peacefully at the age of 67, surrounded by his loving family and friends in the comfort of his own home after losing his battle to cancer.

My father was an avid bowler and he enjoyed being outdoors, especially when it came to hunting. He loved working on all kinds of vehicles and most of all he absolutely loved being home with his family. He was always cracking a joke - he had the most wonderful sense of humor where he made everyone around him smile. My father from graduated high school and then proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines for five years. He was president of his 4-H Club, and he was a nuclear plant security guard. He was superintendent of Mountain View Estates where he had the opportunity to work side-by-side with the love of his life, my mother, Susan Reynolds who he was with for 19 years. He also worked at Pawlikowski’s sawmill, but retired shortly after to enjoy the rest of his life with his family.

Denny sadly leaves behind his one and only pride and joy, his daughter Amanda Watson, his grandson and partner in crime, Damien Watson, his sister Barbara Sastra (Mike), his beautiful niece Kelli Jean, many friends and also his amazing friend, Dalton Harris.

He was predeceased by his brother, Douglas Watson.

As per my father’s requests there will not be any calling hours or funeral, but a celebration of life will be announced on a later date by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton. He will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.
