Virtual job fair to connect job seekers and employers Feb. 25

UTICA — The Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison, and Oneida Counties (WDB/HMO) will host a free virtual job fair Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering job seekers direct access to local employers across multiple industries. 

The event, open to businesses and residents in Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego counties, aims to streamline the hiring process in real-time through text and video chat.

Participants can explore job openings ranging from entry-level to skilled positions, ask questions, and engage directly with hiring managers. In addition, representatives from the WDB/HMO will provide information on free training programs and apprenticeship opportunities designed to help job seekers develop in-demand skills.

The initiative is backed by the Regional Apprenticeship Development and Readiness (RADAR) grant program, which plays a critical role in workforce development by equipping individuals with the expertise needed for long-term career growth.
