Virginia Lucy McKee King, formerly of DeLancey, passed away on Dec. 2, 2023, in Ocala, Fla., after a brief illness.
Ginny was born Feb. 8, 1947 to Erpherd and Freida (Reynolds) McKee.
Ginny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an exceptional artist, cook and naturalist. Whether digging in the dirt or watching the birds off her back porch in the hills of the Catskills. These gave her great joy.
Ginny is survived by her husband William of Ocala, Fla., and two sons Paul (Cynthia) King of Saranac Lake and Billy King of DeLancey, her grandson Carson, granddaughter Tabitha and great-granddaughter Maelyn.
She is also survived by three sisters: Ruth Hawley (Harry), Sandi (Kevin) McKee and Anna McKee; a brother-in-law Ted Zuk and sister-in-law Claire Niles.
Ginny leaves behind several nieces and nephews; her nephew Cory held a special place in her heart.
She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Kyle, in 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Anna McKee on Dec. 16 from 1 - 4 p.m. for friends and family.
