WALTON - Walton trustees discussed prohibited and permissible activity in municipal parks at a meeting held Monday, Nov. 6.
Dogs are to be leashed at all times and dog owners are required to clean up after their dogs or can face fines. Trustee Nate Jamieson also asks the public to monitor their dogs and not allow them to dig holes in the athletic fields at Austin Lincoln Park.
The village is looking forward to public use of the parks for winter recreation including cross-country skiing, ice skating and sledding.
