DELHI - Delaware County's Acting District Attorney Shawn Smith held a press conference this afternoon announcing the indictment of an undocumented immigrant, who, he said, has been previously convicted of a felony and is being detained by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement). County, state and federal officials decried New York's bail reform, and used the platform to explain Delaware County's state of emergency which prohibits housing of immigrants.
