Rose Marie Bush, 88, of Delhi, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, Jan. 18, 2021 at O’Connor Hospital, Delhi, following a long illness.

Born on Jan. 29, 1932 in Sidney, Rose was the daughter of the late Charles and Naomi (Merritt) Northrup.

She worked for many years for Rollin V Corp. in Walton as a monitor and only retired a few years ago.

Rose enjoyed bowling and was a league bowler and competed in national tournaments. She also enjoyed crocheting and loved the outdoors, swimming, fishing and taking in all that nature had to offer. One of her greatest joys was her family: she was a loving mother and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husbands Leroy Jones and Caleb Bush Jr.; her daughter Linda Utter, granddaughter Renee Utter and a sister, Julia Lewis.

She is survived by her children Diana (Donald) Norton of Plattsburg, Arletta (Daniel) Brandenburg of Delhi and John “JP” (Carol) of Walton; grandchildren Desire (John), Deidre (Nate), Dustin, Danny, Jason (Marcy), Savannah (Bucky), Brandon (Gerri), Stephanie (Todd Sr.); 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; siblings Jeanette, Sharon, Shirley, Pat and Charles; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.   Graveside services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
