Invitation to Bid
The Delaware County Soil & Water Conservation District (DCSWCD), 44 West Street,
Suite 1, Walton, NY 13856 is seeking bids on behalf of Jill Pinkey, from
qualified contractors for the CREP/CSBI Buffer Planting Program. The property
and project site is located on State Highway 10, Kortright, NY 13842 in the Town
of Kortright . The planting area is approximately 8.42 acres in size and
includes installation of native trees and shrubs. The expected performance date
is between April 1 and May 15 of 2027 .
Bids will be received by the Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation
District’s office at 44 West Street, Suite #1, Walton, NY 13856 until Thursday,
December 3, 2027 , at 1:00 PM prevailing time, at which time they will be
publicly opened and read. Contractors are responsible for the timely delivery of
their Bid Proposal. Bidding and Contract Documents, including Plans and
Specifications, may be obtained by contacting Catherine Skalda via email, or at
(607) 865-7161. Bidders are responsible for the timely delivery of their Bid
Proposal. Only in-person delivery or mailed bids will be accepted. Interested

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineering Services for Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling
The Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation District (DCSWCD), 44 West
Street, Suite 1, Walton, NY 13856, is seeking proposals from qualified
professional engineering firms to provide hydrologic and hydraulic modeling,
analysis, and related engineering services to support the DCSWCD in the
protection of water quality and management of stream systems throughout Delaware
County.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish contracts
with qualified consultants to provide engineering and technical assistance for
the planning, design, evaluation, and permitting of stream restoration, flood
mitigation, and water resource management projects. Services will be provided on
an as-needed basis and will not be limited to any specific project.
Specific services may include, but are not limited to: hydrologic analyses;
one-dimensional and two-dimensional hydraulic modeling; sediment transport
analysis; topographic and bathymetric surveying; field data collection and site
assessments; hydraulic evaluation of bridges, culverts, and stream crossings;
stream restoration and floodplain project reviews; regulatory permitting
assistance; emergency flood response and recovery; flood hazard mitigation; and
related technical consulting, training, and public outreach.
The anticipated contract term is two (2) years, with an option for renewal.
DCSWCD may award up to three (3) contracts under this solicitation.

and Water Conservation District office between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM
