The Community Foundation for South Central New York (CFSCNY) is now accepting applications for its Paul G. and Miriam B. Mattern Fund and Racial Justice and Equity Fund (RJEF) competitive grant cycles. These opportunities support capital improvements, programs, and capacity-building efforts by 501(c)(3) organizations or those with a fiscal sponsor, including school districts and municipalities.
The Mattern Fund awards grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 and invites proposals from organizations that enhance the cultural life or social wellbeing of residents in the village and town of Walton.
The Racial Justice and Equity Fund (RJEF) offers grants between $500 and $10,000 and focuses on initiatives serving marginalized communities. Priority areas include Leadership and Advancement, Health and Wellness, Business and Wealth Creation, Arts and Culture, Civic Engagement, and Youth Education.
RJEF is open to organizations across the Foundation’s five-county service area.
Organizations can apply by visiting donorswhocare.org and clicking the “Grantee Login” tab at the top right of the homepage. Returning applicants can log in and click “Apply” to select the appropriate grant cycle. First-time applicants must create an account before proceeding.
