Dianne Robillard

Dianne Lynn Robillard of Walton passed away at her home after an illness on Jan. 19, 2024. Dianne was born Jan. 30, 1948 while her parents, Mary (Lambert) and James Miller were living in Michigan.

She was raised in Sidney, and is a 1966 graduate of Sidney Central School. She attended the Butera School of Art in Boston, Mass., from 1967-1970. She was a talented, inspired and published freelance painter and illustrator. She was especially known for her whimsical and colorful paintings depicting animals, nature and fantasy.

Dianne was married on Oct. 3, 1970, to James “Gordy” Robillard. Dianne and Gordy raised their daughters, Rinda (Robillard-Mattice) and Teresa (Robillard) in Dixon Ili., where they resided from 1971-1986, before returning to New York.

Dianne is survived by her husband Gordy and her daughters Teresa of Walton and Rinda (Christopher) of Roxbury.

She also left behind her granddaughters Zoe and Téa Mattice also from Roxbury.

She will be missed by many loving friends and family including her sister Julie Furman (Dale), brother Michael Miller and many nieces and nephews who all loved their hilarious Aunt Dianne. Dianne was predeceased by her mother, father and her brother Jim Miller.
