Bill and Charle Cash made another trip to their summer home in Clayton. On their way going through Watertown they stopped to see relatives Lewis and Joyce Coulter. They enjoyed having lunch together. Lewis and Joyce are former Hamden residents so it was a good time to visit.

My Thoughts of the week: After a good summer and having a good time the school kids are now back in school for another year...Enjoy your time in school kids and learn what you can while you are there.
Lynn Kinch’s joke of the week: An old man thought his wife was going deaf, so he came up behind her and said, “Can you hear me sweetheart?” No reply. He came closer and said it again. He put his mouth up to her ear and “Can you hear me now honey?” “For the third time, Yes!”
Senior moments: Teenagers today pay a lot of money to buy the vintage clothes that their grandparents threw out. I guess they do their shopping at the Generation Gap Outlet.
A cute saying: Now and then it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.
Helpful hints: If you’ve ever hauled firewood, raked pine needles or camped in conifer country you know about pine sap on skin and clothing. Scrubbing with soap and water can help but sometimes you just have to wait for sap to wear off. The answer? Rubbing alcohol. Simply soak a piece of cloth or a cotton ball with alcohol and rub the sap spot on skin or fabric to remove the stuff in a flash.
