Daniel John Ryan, 54, of Walton, formerly of Staten Island and Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 at Binghamton General Hospital.
Dan was born in Staten Island and during his military service lived in numerous locations around the globe. Dan served our country for more than 26 years in both the Marine Corps and the Army. He enjoyed time spent with his comrades at the Marine Corps League in Las Vegas, Nev.
Dan is survived by his father George T. Ryan of Walton, his brother Michael (Kimberly) Ryan of Staten Island, his sister Jennifer (Timothy) Fay of Walton, nieces and nephews Christopher Ryan of Orlando Fla., Brittany Smyth of Culpepper, Va., Miranda Ryan of Orlando Fla., and Joseph Fay of Walton.
Daniel was predeceased by his mother Constance (Cornish) Ryan.
Calling hours are 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street Walton, where a service with full military honors will begin immediately following calling hours at 5 p.m.
