Call For Collectors

Posted

Collectors have the opportunity to show off their hard work and maybe win some ribbons at the collections exhibit in the Human Ecology building. Whether you collect coins, nutcrackers, sloth decorations or breakfast foods, judges and fairgoers want to see your collection.

Collections can be entered in one of 18 classes including animals, antiques (pre-1950), bells, coins, collectibles, dishware, dolls, holiday items, memorabilia, miniatures, models, nature, postcards, spoons, stamps, thimbles, toys and miscellaneous. Exhibitors may only have one entry per class, and collections can only be entered in one class.

The Human Ecology Building is staffed all day and locked at night with security guards on duty. Collectors can retrieve their items between 8 and 9 p.m. Saturday or from 9–11 a.m. Sunday.

To enter your collection, call Chairperson Lisa Calaci after 6 p.m. at 607-434-3377.
