WALTON - A continued ministry, Samaritan’s Purse, of the New Hope Community Church in Walton was a success again this year with 638 boxes of personal hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, and other items collected, packed into shoe boxes and distributed internationally after being delivered to Binghamton. The ministry collected 1,056 boxes in total. Last year the church collected and packed 629 boxes.
The annual ministry is coordinated by Jayne Francisco.
