The Headwaters Arts Center, 66 Main Street, Stamford, will host two creative workshops led by artist Celia Buchanan.
The first, “Faux Finishing & Acrylic Techniques,” will take place Saturday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In this workshop participants will explore textures, surfaces, color, and possibilities using acrylic, gels, mediums, and paints.
“Mixed Media Done Right,” will be held Saturday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This workshop will be an exploration of multimedia techniques using stencils and resist methods incorporating watercolor inks, soft water-soluble wax pastels, liquid acrylics, and beyond.
The cost of each workshop is $45, which includes all materials. Preregistration is required and masks are encouraged.
