At the William B. Ogden Free Library, we invite you to rekindle your love for the library this February. With a lineup of engaging and heartwarming programs planned throughout the month, there’s something for everyone to fall in love with. Whether it’s a creative craft, a cozy community gathering, or an inspiring workshop, we’re here to spark your imagination and warm your heart.

Specifically in the theme of “Valentine’s Day”, on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a Valentine’s open maker space for kids. Bring your children to the library for a plethora of crafts and activities relating to Valentine’s Day. From cards to sun catchers, children can let their imaginations run free during this crafty program. Feel free to drop in any time from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to get in on the action.
More interested in football than Valentine’s Day? On Wednesday, Feb. 5, starting at 6 p.m., the library will be hosting it’s very first “Souper Bowl”. Sign up to bring your favorite soup, along with the recipe card, and an appetite! Show off your team spirit by wearing something that proudly displays your favorite football team. This event will be a “souper” fun time sampling a variety of soups. The library will provide bread, bowls, silverware, and napkins for the optimal soup tasting experience. Be sure to sign up as spots are limited by calling 607.865.5929.
