Walton CS names top graduates for the Class of 2025

WALTON — The Walton Central School District has announced its Class of 2025 valedictorian and salutatorian, along with a slate of honor graduates. Aurora Siniscalchi has been named valedictorian, and Addyson Trimbell has earned the title of salutatorian. Both will deliver addresses at the school’s commencement ceremony June 28.

Valedictorian: Aurora Siniscalchi

A student leader and academic standout, Siniscalchi holds top leadership roles across a range of extracurricular activities. She is president of the National Honor Society, Drama Club, and Speech and Debate, and vice president of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and the senior class. She also participates in book club and captained the school’s cheerleading team. Outside school, she is active in 4-H.

Siniscalchi has maintained a consistent presence on the superintendent’s list throughout her high school career. She was selected to attend Girls State in 2024 and is a recipient of the Dr. Currie Marr ADK Teen Workshop Scholarship.

She plans to pursue a degree in biochemistry on a premedical track following graduation. Siniscalchi is the daughter of Gerardo and Christina Siniscalchi.

Salutatorian: Addyson Trimbell

A standout in both academics and athletics, Trimbell has served as a two-year captain of the field hockey team and is president of the Varsity Club. She holds multiple leadership positions as secretary of the National Honor Society, FBLA, Yearbook Club, and the Class of 2025. She is also involved in the Travel Club, serves on the Student Services Advisory Council, and competes with the Southern Tier Field Hockey Club.

Trimbell has earned scholar-athlete recognition from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association in four seasons and was named MAC scholar-athlete for field hockey in both 2023 and 2024. Her academic honors include awards in a range of subjects, from AP biology and psychology to Spanish and studio art.

She plans to attend D’Youville University, where she will study exercise and sports studies and compete in Division II field hockey. Her goal is to become a physical therapist. Trimbell is the daughter of Chad and Karena Trimbell.

The graduation ceremony will take place at Walton Central School on June 28.
