A regional workforce initiative will host a free virtual job fair on Tuesday, June 10, aimed at connecting employers and job seekers across seven upstate counties.
The event, organized by the Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties through its Regional Apprenticeship Development and Readiness (RADAR) grant program, will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants from Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties are invited to attend.
Using a digital platform, the fair will allow job seekers and employers to engage in one-on-one conversations through text or video. Staff from local training programs will also be available to discuss career development opportunities supported by workforce grants.
