DELHI – One week after Delaware County was cleared for a partially reopening, the reported cases of COVID in the area continue to climb. Yesterday, three new cases were announced. Today, the health department announced two more. Twenty three people are in mandatory quarantine. Four are hospitalized. Four people have died.
To date, 54 people have fully recovered from the virus in Delaware County.
Otsego County today announced that someone who attended the horse and tack auction at the Unadilla Livestock Company on May 16 has been confirmed positive for the virus. That person, despite the auction's requirement of masks at its sales, was reportedly not wearing a mask.
