On Sept. 7, 2023, around noon, New York State Police at Deposit assisted the Hancock Village Police Department with a reporter of a robbery involving a weapon.
Troopers accuse Devin Smallwood, 22 and Juan P. Diaz, 23, both of Brooklyn, of entering a residence without permission and forcibly stealing property while armed with a firearm.
The pair are both charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and first-degree criminal use of a firearm.
The two were held at the Delaware County Jail awaiting centralized arraignment.
