ONEONTA — Anglers looking to stock up on fishing gear or find a bargain can stop by the Dave Brandt Chapter of Trout Unlimited at the Grand & Glorious Fall Fair Sunday, Sept. 13, at Neahwa Park.
The chapter will be at location No. 29, between the West Entrance and the War Memorial, south of the pond. Its blue tent will be on the left side of the main walkway for visitors heading east.
The chapter will accept donations of $1 to $20, with donors able to select a prize based on the amount donated.
Among the items available will be fishing rod-and-reel combinations ranging from ultralight spinning setups to medium- and heavy-duty salmon and saltwater combinations. The chapter also will offer new waders and fishing vests, ice-fishing equipment, lures, jigs, fishing line and flies.
Annual raffle tickets also will be available for purchase.
Proceeds will support the chapter’s work promoting the health of Catskill lakes, rivers and streams.
