Jericho Arts Council Gallery committee has announced the third annual photography show will open Friday, Oct. 4, with the closing reception on Sunday, Oct. 27 at noon.
Artists 18 years and older are welcome to enter one or two framed, ready-to-hang photographs. There are five categories in which to submit: Wildlife, Still Life, Architecture, Landscape, and People. There will be up to 22 monetary awards, four in each category, Best in Show and a People’s Choice.

The entry fee for two submissions is $27; $15 for one. Applications must be received by Sept. 23 to be eligible for the discounted fee of $22 for two, $12 for one. Unregistered entries will be accepted at the gallery on drop-off days which are Sunday, Sept. 29, from 1-4 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 30, from 4-7 p.m.
The exhibit days and times are Friday, Oct. 4: 6 - 9 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 5: 10 a.m. -1 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 8, 10, 15, 17: 2 - 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12: 6-9 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 13: 1-4 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 26: 6-9 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 27, gallery opens at noon, artists’ reception and awards ceremony at 1 p.m.
