Delhi Bridge Run: Saturday, June 7, 9 a.m. A 5k that starts and finishes in Hoyt Park in the middle of the village of Delhi. Park in the county parking lots behind 111 and 99 Main Street. Awards presented in the park immediately following the race. Proceeds benefit scholarships to high school seniors graduating from schools in Delaware County and a school or community group of their choice. Fee: $33.15, ages 1-18. Porchfest: 2025 Saturday, June 7, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., throughout the village of Walton. What is Porchfest? A free event with musicians playing on porches or similar venues. Pick up a map at Veterans’ Plaza, 181 Delaware Street, to show who is playing where and when. Margaretville Fire Department Fourth of July Field Days: July 1 to July 5 in the Margaretville Village Park. Fireworks this year are Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5. No cost to enter the fairgrounds but a freewill donation in the box to help cover the cost of the fireworks appreciated. Support your local volunteer fire department - fun for all ages with rides, food, beer, fireworks, games, live music, and much more! Tuesday, July 1: Rides open 6-10 p.m. Pay One Price-$25.

Mid-Summer Mayhem demolition derby Saturday, two hour build starts at noon, main event starts at 3 p.m. Food, beer, vendors, games, bounce houses & fun!

Margaretville Celebrates its 150th Birthday: A block dance will be held on Main Street Saturday, July 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. The street will be partially closed, music will be provided by Sue’s Garage, vintage cars will be on display, food will be available for purchase, and a community portrait will be taken like those taken in 1979 and 2000. Bovina Farm Day: Sunday, Aug. 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Crescent Valley Road, Bovina. This big one-day festival is one of the most magical events for young kids. There will be a massive hay bale playground with a slide, a maze, and a corn pit. Kids can run around for hours and then settle into a hayride to enjoy the expansive views of the valley.
