The Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. announced the endorsement of Shawn Smith for Delaware County District Attorney on Friday, May 12.
“It is with careful consideration that the NYSTPBA is endorsing Shawn J. Smith for election as Delaware County District Attorney. The NYSTPBA is confident that Shawn J. Smith is the best candidate for Delaware County District Attorney,” the announcement said.
More than 7,000 active and retired, uniformed members of the New York State Police from the rank of trooper through the rank of major are represented by the NYSTPBA.
