Walton Junior Girl Scout Troop 61172 members assisted with the placement of American flags at the Walton Cemetery Saturday, May 2. The Girl Scouts joined community members and other organizations, ensuring each site’s veteran was honored in advance of Memorial Day. The annual tradition serves as a “living history” lesson for scouts and others connecting the youth of Walton with the legacy of those who served in the United States military.
