Melvin and June Ruff were married Aug. 20, 1966 at the Advent Church in Margaretville and celebrated their 60th anniversary at the Doll House in Andes Aug. 19, 2026, with 55 guests including a bridesmaid, Lynn Cappielo. June made her own wedding dress.
The Ruffs still reside on Main Street in Andes where they ran a dairy farm for 23 years, after which Mel drove contract mail and June was one of the “Paper Dolls.”
Their son Jeffrey lives in Albany and daughter Jennifer lives in Kentucky.
