DELHI - In conjunction with the Bushel Free Store, we are pleased to host a Repair Café on Saturday, March 7, 1 to 5 p.m, at Bushel, 106 Main Street, Delhi.
Your beloved-but-broken belongings or items you wish to donate to the Free Store, and work with a volunteer repair coach to fix them - for free! We’ll be fixing: lamps • vacuums • clocks • electrical items • small appliances • clothing and textiles • stuffed animals • and more. Most items get fixed, but even if they don’t, everyone has a good time trying. This event is organized by Transition Catskills and the Delhi Community Resiliency Committee.
Transition Catskills is a group of your neighbors in the Catskills region who have come together to explore how we can make our communities more resilient in the face of resource depletion, climate change, and economic instability. We are looking for ways to strengthen what’s already here and what’s already working, and to re-imagine what we can make better.
The Delhi Community Resiliency Committee is a collection of Delhi residents who are helping to guide the Village of Delhi into a greener future.
BUSHEL is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, volunteer-led, mixed-use space dedicated to art, agriculture, ecology, and action. It is located at 106 Main Street in Delhi. For more information visit www.bushelcollective.org
