Delaware County voters will head to the polls Tuesday, June 23, for primary elections that include congressional, state Senate, Assembly and local races.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at assigned polling places.

Countywide Republican primaries will be held for the 19th Congressional District and the 51st State Senate District. Democrats across the county will vote in a primary for New York state comptroller.

Voters in the 102nd Assembly District — including the towns of Bovina, Davenport, Delhi, Franklin, Hamden, Harpersfield, Kortright, Meredith, Roxbury, Stamford and Walton — will also have a Democratic primary for Assembly.

In Hancock, Republicans will vote in a primary for town supervisor.

Election officials noted that voters who requested an absentee ballot but choose to vote in person on Election Day must cast an affidavit ballot rather than vote on a machine.

Sample ballots and voter registration information are available on the Delaware County Board of Elections website at Delaware County Board of Elections.
