WALTON — The Walton Police Department will host a “Coffee and Cops” event Friday, April 18, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at police headquarters, 87 Mead Street.
The informal gathering invites community members to meet local law enforcement, including Police Chief Tahir Haqq, ask questions, and learn more about the department’s work.
Designed to model community policing and foster accessibility, the event encourages residents to stop in, say hello, and bring children to help introduce them to the role of police officers in the community.
