DELHI - On Thursday, Nov. 7, Delaware County’s Sheriff’s Explorer Post 108 hosted an electrifying demonstration featuring K-9 Dexter and his handler, Deputy Justin Mohr. Attendees watched as Dexter showcased his skills in narcotics detection, article location, and criminal apprehension. Mohr shared insights into the legal aspects of K-9 work, as well as the discipline required to maintain a working K-9 team.
The Explorer Post, open to young people with an interest in law enforcement, expressed gratitude for the duo’s thrilling demonstration. For those inspired to join, the group meets twice a month to dive deep into law enforcement careers and skills.
