Here on the Farm the fellas are getting more corn chopped and will bring the equipment home to get started on another field that is closer. Watch for the trucks rolling along on County Highway 35 this week as the corn will be chopped in the fields on Cummings Road and returning to the bunk on the farm. It looks like the nice weather will leave us and cooler weather - 40s and 50s on the weekend. The trees are turning so much in the last weeks, so get out and take a trip to see them while the colors last. Fall is so full of beauty. The base base for milk production remains at 93% for the month of October. Customer demand continues to be strong and stable entering the fall months. Schools are open and the holiday season approaches so customers are making more dairy products than in the summer months. Milk prices are expected to rebound following a low in July and continued strength is expected throughout the last few months of 2023. Keep purchasing all the dairy products that you can for cooking, baking for party dips with sour cream and other products and don’t forget the milk for strong bones and good nourishment. Have a great and healthy week everyone.
