Lodema Marie Matthews McAdams, 91 of Walton, passed away June 30, 2023.
“Dema” was born Feb. 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Cora Rodgers and Donald C. Matthews at Shavertown. She spent most of her childhood living in Andes. She lived in Walton most of her adult years, where she met and later married Ronald E. McAdams. Dema worked as a bookkeeper for several area telephone companies.
Dema is survived by two brothers, Robert and Gary Matthews, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Cora and Donald Matthews, her husband Ronald McAdams, four sisters, Barbara Condon, Patricia Sherwood, Doris DeSilva and Gail Dibble.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, at Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
