Local artist Diane DeAngelis, right, presents a painting of Betsy Ross sewing an American flag to Michael Frisbee, commander of Downsville American Legion Post 167, during a recent meeting. The artwork commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States. Frisbee expressed appreciation for the gift.
