Letter to the Editor: Keep Writing: Our Voices Matter More Than Ever

Posted

In response to the two excellent letters in The Reporter on Thursday, thank you! As we are all hearing from our friends and elected officials, it is critical that we continue to write letters and make phone calls to let our feelings known about the state of our country. These two letters from Tracy Hancock and Susan Harwood are excellent examples of such communication. Every time I sit down to write to my representatives (and I write a lot) I’m flummoxed by the sheer number of topics that I’m very concerned about. This administration has produced such chaos in so many diverse directions that I hardly know what to address in my next letter. This chaos is, of course, exactly what this administration is counting on as they pull the proverbial wool over the countries eyes in order to create their new country for billionaires!

We just can’t let this happen, and until a strong leader with some concrete ideas on how to stop the collapse of our constitution comes along, I just beg all of you to keep writing!

God bless our country.
