Request for Bid

The Delaware County Soil & Water Conservation District (DCSWCD) , 44 West

Street, Suite 1, Walton, NY 13856 is seeking bids from qualified contractors on

behalf of multiple landowners to conduct herbicide application for the

management of Japanese knotweed ( Fallopia japonica and other invasive species

at 8 selected riparian buffer sites within the East and West Branch Delaware

River Watersheds. Contractors must show proof of current New York State

pesticide applicator certification .

Bids must be received by the Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation

August 20, 2026 , at 1:00 PM prevailing time, at which time they will be

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Town of Delhi Highway Department

Boiler Replacement and Water Heater Installation

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Delhi is seeking sealed proposals from

qualified contractors for the replacement of an existing boiler system and

installation of a new water heater at the Town of Delhi Highway Department Town

Garage, 3 Elm Street, Delhi, New York 13753.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removal and proper disposal

of the existing boiler system and indirect water heater; installation of a new

high-efficiency boiler system with required controls, circulators, valves,

piping, wiring, connections, startup, and testing; and installation of a new

40-gallon electric water heater or equivalent, including required electrical and

plumbing connections.

All work shall comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry

standards. Contractors must be properly licensed and insured and shall provide

proof of Workers’ Compensation and liability insurance.

Proposals shall include total project cost, equipment specifications, estimated

timeline for completion, warranty information, and proof of insurance and

qualifications. Proposals will be evaluated based on cost, contractor

qualifications and experience, project timeline, and compliance with

specifications. RFP is available at the Town Clerk’s Office, 5 Elm Street, Delhi

NY 13753.

Proposal Deadline: Sealed proposals must be received at the office of Town

Clerk, 5 Elm Street, Delhi New York no later than Monday, August 10, 2026, by

3:00pm. Bids will be publically opened and read at 6:00pm, on Monday, August 10,

2026, at the regular monthly board meeting of the Town of Delhi.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of July,

2026 the Board of Trustees of the Village of Stamford, Delaware County, New York

duly adopted a resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is
