Scope of Work
The project is being undertaken to replace and upgrade the existing facility HVAC RTU system. The existing system was installed during a past facility renovation. It provides cooling for the main Library area and the adjacent offices. A New LG Heat Pump based system will provide primary cooling and secondary heating to a select portion of the facility. The new system shall be integrated into the existing facility ducting, as shown. Included within the project is removal of the existing RTU curb and repairing the existing roofing penetrations. A full facility roof replacement will take place at a future date, to be determined. The proposed project budget is $185,000. This is an open bid.
The library will remain operational during the replacement. The contractor will be required to coordinate all scheduling.
Schedule
Work shall be complete by June 30, 2024.
Prebid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held on 2 9 24 at 9 00 a.m. on site. Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site and encouraged to contact Principle Design with any questions or concerns.
Bid Opening
