Jean Prince Alvarez Sheldon, 91, of Waldwick, formerly of Walton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025. Born in Walton, she lived in Waldwick, Sun Lake, Arizona and Hyde Park before moving back to Waldwick three years ago.
She was an EKG technician for Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Jean is survived by her children: David (Patricia), Susan (Ken) Quintilian, Michael, Thomas (Lindsey), Joseph (Erica), and Steven (Wendy), 13 loving grandchildren: Stephanie, David Jr., Brian, Mary Kate, Anthony, Michael Jr., Nicholas (Veronica), Thomas Jr., Joseph (Courtney), Patrick (Mia), Paige, Steven, and Madison, and three great-grandchildren: Hiliana, Selena and Violet and one more on the way. She is also survived by her brother Father Leo Prince and her former daughters-in-law: Catherine, Carla, and Donna.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Sheldon, her first husband Manuel Alvarez Jr., her brothers Henry and Richard, and her grandson Kevin.
