The Rotary Club of Hobart will sponsor the 2022 Hobart Sausage & Brew Festival at 101 Maple Avenue, Hobart, Saturday, Aug. 27.
Festivities begin at 3 p.m. Food will be served until 7 p.m., and music and drinks continue until 9 p.m.
Coinciding with Delaware County Family Farm Day, the fest offers a village-wide evening dinner celebration of locally produced sausages, fresh local vegetables, craft beers and ciders, under the big tent, rain or shine. Admission is free.
The festival will feature live music by the 16-piece Leatherstocking Jazz Band from 3-5 p.m., and Country Express 5:30-8 p.m. The party continues with dancing and music by DJ KDC of Hobart, vendors and assorted activities until 9 p.m.
Activities for children include the Chalk Bus, hayrides, face painting, hula hooping, jump roping and cornhole. A 50-50 raffle will be held. Proceeds benefit community service programs.
