HOBART - The newly expanded Hobart Farmers Market opens at 101 Maple Avenue, Hobart, on Friday, May 27, from 4-7 p.m., with small farmers selling locally produced food. It’s the ideal place to begin healthy weekend grocery shopping for fresh produce and meats, and for treats.

A wide array of farm-fresh choices including pasture-raised beef, pork, chicken, lamb and goat meat, Catskill vegetables in season, Clark’s milk, eggs, cheeses, fruit, berries, locally milled grains, specialty products including jams and maple syrup, homemade spice mixtures, hard cider, fruit wines, breakfast pastries, pies, fancy desserts, plants, flowers and pain-relieving CBD salves and tinctures are available for sale.

Nestled between the Delaware River and the Scenic Catskill Rail Trail, the Hobart Farmers Market has been celebrating farmers for over 10 years. Nearby are two gazebos, picnic tables, and several barbecue grills.

The market is held every Friday evening from 4 - 7 p.m., rain or shine, through the end of September.
