The Roxbury Arts Group is now accepting performer submissions for the Headwaters Music and Arts Festival, a day-long celebration of community and creativity set to return to Stamford’s Main Street on July 19. The open call invites artists of all kinds to apply by June 21.
Now in its annual summer slot, the festival runs from noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine, and transforms the village’s historic Main Street into a public stage for music, performance, and participatory arts programming for all ages.
This year’s lineup will feature a broader range of talent, including musicians, dancers, poets, circus artists, magicians, puppeteers, comedians, and performance troupes. A new stage dedicated to spoken word will highlight the region’s literary voices, building on the success of Word Box, a monthly open mic series hosted by the Headwaters Arts Center.
Artists interested in performing can submit proposals at roxburyartsgroup.org/hmaf2025. Questions can be directed to the Headwaters Arts Center at (607) 214-6040 or by email at headwaters@roxburyartsgroup.org.
