The Hancock Democratic Committee will host a candidate forum for the upcoming town supervisor’s race Friday, Sept. 26, at the Hancock Fire Department’s Clubhouse, 181 Park Street, across from Orall’s garage at 6 p.m.
The theme will be the key role that the Hancock supervisor plays in the region. Hancock is not only the biggest town in Delaware County but the gateway to economic development in the Upper Delaware River Valley. Hancock Supervisor Jerry Vernold will answer questions submitted by the public. His opponent Dave Rubera has declined to participate in the event. There are no Democrats on the ballot for town positions in Hancock. For more information or to submit questions email hancocknydemcocrats@gmail.com
