DELHI - Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an ATV crash Saturday, Nov. 16, off Fuller Hollow Road in Hamden, according to a Nov. 18 press release issued by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
Prior to deputies arrival, one victim was privately transported to Delaware Valley Hospital, with a second victim remaining on scene.
Deputies located the second victim, an 11-year-old boy, at a residence on Fuller Hollow Road. He was transported by ambulance to a landing zone and airlifted to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The first victim that was privately transported to the hospital, a 13-year-old girl, was later pronounced dead at Delaware Valley Hospital due to injuries from the crash.
Assisting deputies were Colchester Police, Ambulnz Medical Service, Downsville and Walton Fire Departments and ambulance squads, and LifeNet.
