A new exhibition of fiber art works by Anne Gohorel, Fred Nelson, Maryanne Neuber, Kimberly Whritner and Bobbi Goldman will open Saturday, May 18 at MURAL Art Gallery in Hobart and run through Sunday, June 30. An opening reception will take place from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, May 18. The gallery is located at the heart of the book village, 631 Main Street, Hobart.
The interplay of color and texture in textile works, as well as the variety of styles between the group artists, will make for an energizing exhibition curated by MURAL board member Tracy Jacknow. All local artists, the show is a celebration of both the versatility of fiber arts and the Catskills artistic community.
