BOVINA - A 36-year-old Delhi woman was killed Oct. 28 in a head-on collision on state Highway 28 just north of county Highway 6, state police said.
Troopers said a 2022 Ford Edge, traveling north shortly before 3 p.m., crossed into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and struck a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.
The Ford’s driver, Natasha Reed, 36, of Delhi, was taken to Margaretville Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, authorities said. The pickup’s driver, Ernest K. Bilzer, 57, of Fleischmanns, was transported to O’Connor Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.
