ONEONTA - Eighty-three student-athletes representing 10 high school trap shooting teams from Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie counties gathered June 14 at the Oneonta Sportsmen’s Club for the fourth annual Victor Carpenter Memorial High School Trap Tournament.
The event, held in memory of Victor Carpenter, drew competitors from across the region for a day of shooting and sportsmanship.
Delhi-Walton emerged as the tournament champion, earning first-place team honors. Sidney finished second, while Cobleskill-Richmondville placed third among the 10 participating teams.
