The Delhi community came together Saturday, Oct. 1, to decorate the village for fall, lead by the Delhi Beautification Committee (DBC) and supported by local business, SUNY Delhi students, faculty and volunteer community members.

Village lampposts were decorated with cornstalks and fall leaf garland provided by Birdsong Farm.

On Friday, Sept. 30, the DBC held a chicken barbecue fundraiser and raised nearly $150 to help fund efforts.

DBC is a community-based organization that decorates the village each season, cares for community parks and gateway signs.

SUNY Delhi fraternities and sororities taking part in the decorating included DTG, OXO, Pi Nu and ZD and The Society of Manufacturing Engineers, including faculty.

DBC Chair Dan Ayres said every season brings the community together.
