Delaware Country Creative Economy Relief Fund

Posted

The Delaware County Creative Economy Relief Fund has been established by the Roxbury Arts Group to help artists and others contributing to the creative economy who have lost the ability to earn income from their artistic endeavors due to the COVID-19 crisis.

The fund was established to help alleviate immediate financial hardship for members of the arts community. Payments of $200 will be awarded to qualified applicants until funds are exhausted.

Complete details and application information can be found at roxburyartsgroup.org.

Delaware County artists of all disciplines, and those working ‘behind the scenes’ to support the arts who are experiencing financial losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic are invited to apply. Applicants will be required to submit proof of Delaware County residency with their application. Applications will be accepted on June 2 and June 16.

It is the group’s goal to notify applicants of decisions and mail awards within a week of application deadlines. Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds have been depleted.

The Delaware County Creative Economy Relief Fund is made possible by a grant from the COVID-19 Relief Fund of the Community Foundation for South Central New York and the New York State Council on the Arts. Complete details can be found at roxburyartsgroup.org.
