New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) wildlife biologists will hold a spring statewide status of waterfowl webinar to present waterfowl news and updates April 14 from 6 to 7 p.m. These topics may be of interest to waterfowl hunters and enthusiasts across the state.
Participants can register for the webinar by visiting https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8148165/Status-of-waterfowl-Webinar-registration and following the prompts. After approval attendees will receive instructions to join the webinar.
The webinar will cover such topics as:
• Waterfowl research updates
• Hunting regulation/flyway updates
• 2025-2026 waterfowl season dates
• Waterfowl habitat improvement highlights across New York
• A question and answer session with DEC biologists
