The Community Foundation for South Central New York welcomes grant application for $5,000 and under from qualified non-profit 501c.3 organizations in the five-county service region which includes Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties.
Grant Criteria
• Proposals may be submitted for program, small capital purchases, or capacity building projects.
• Grants will be awarded from $250 to $5,000.
• Although the application is shorter, comprehensive responses are required. Keep in mind that the organization still must make its case to be considered for funding.
• Applications will be considered six times a year and are due by the fourth Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November.
• Applicants must tie their request to the Community Foundation’s Need Assessments located at donorswhocare.org.
