SUNY Delhi congratulates almost 800 students who achieved the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester. Purchase College announced that more than 1,300 students were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester including Isaiah Smith of Franklin and Ivory Biruk of Halcottsville.

Two-hundred and fifteen SUNY Oneonta graduate students completed the requirements for a master’s degree, certificate of advanced study or advanced graduate certificate following the spring 2025 semester on Saturday, May 17. Sarah Roberts of Bovina Center earned a master of arts for completing the museum studies program and Kaitlyn O’Boyle of Hancock earned a master of science in education for completing the literacy education (B-6) program.

At SUNY Oneonta’s spring 2025 commencement more than 600 undergraduate students were honored. Delaware County graduates include: John Arnold of East Meredith - bachelor of arts in English; Lizette Bishop of Delhi - bachelor of science in psychology; Brandon Bodo of DeLancey - bachelor of science in adolescence education: social studies; Logan Kaufman of Hobart - bachelor of science in sport management; Kaylee Marschilok of Delhi - bachelor of science in early childhood/childhood education B-6; Rachel Masterson of Andes - bachelor of science in early childhood/childhood education B-6; Christopher Prentice of Sidney - bachelor of science in business economics; Sophia Wakin of Delhi - bachelor of science in sport management; Kassidy Wright of Hobart - bachelor of science in psychology.

A total of 9,424 students received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison on May 9-10, including Anderson Matteo Smith, Margaretville, College of Letters and Science, bachelor of arts-journalism. 

One thousand, one-hundred and eighty-seven SUNY Cortland students earned president’s list honors for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn an A- or better in each of their classes while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more. Among those recognized are Alina Chojnowski of Roxbury, majoring in community health; and Bailee Herrel of Arkville, majoring in psychology.

The following local residents were named to Clark University’s spring 2025 dean’s list: Sophia L. Needham, of Roxbury was named to first honors, and Marco G. Shaw, of Bovina Center was named to first honors.
